The Door County Pond Hockey tournament takes place on Kangaroo Lake, Door County’s largest inland lake and the place where we fish for bass off the causeway come summertime. The lake is surrounded by Hines Emerald Dragonfly habitat to the north, protected by the Nature Conservancy, and dotted by homes on the south side where the rinks are located.
Rinks are found on the west side of Kangaroo Lake, on the south side of the causeway. Access to the ice is at the intersection of Kangaroo Beach Road and West Kangaroo Lake Road. Parking will be available along the east side of West Kangaroo and the south side of Kangaroo Beach Road.
Those coming from the south taking Highway 57 should follow 57 north, then turn left on Hwy E. Take Hwy E over the causeway on the lake to West Kangaroo Lake Road. Turn left on West Kangaroo Lake Road, then turn left again on Kangaroo Beach Road.
