Door County Brewing Co. will welcome the Door County Pond Hockey Tournament players and friends with live music Feb. 6 and 7.
The Dead Horses band brings an Americana sound from Oshkosh, where they’ve released two albums and earned acclaim throughout the Midwest. They’ll play from 7 – 9 pm Feb. 6 as the taproom hosts packet pickup for the second annual Door County Pond Hockey Tournament.
After the tournament on Saturday, Feb. 7, the taproom celebrates with live music from Eric Lambert of Chicago. The flatpicker extraordinaire has been writing, performing recording, and teaching music in Chicago for more than 40 years.
The Door County Pond Hockey Tournament takes place Saturday, Feb. 7 on Kangaroo Lake. The one-day tournament brings players from Chicago, Milwaukee and the Fox Valley.
The Men’s A and Classic divisions (40+) have room for one more team each, and there remains room for teams in the Men’s B, Legends (50+), Junior (age 12 – 16) and women’s divisions.
The tournament is part of a full weekend of activities in Baileys Harbor that includes the Winter Carnival. The carnival features radar runs for vehicles on Kangaroo Lake, plus great food and beverages under the tent.
